Dieser Multicache ist im Naturpark "Föhrenwald" versteckt - einem schönen Wander/Mountainbike Gebiet westlich von Mödling. Es sind Unmengen von Aufstiegsvarianten möglich - von Kinderwagen-tauglichen Wegen über Mountainbike Trails bis hin zu diversen schweisstreibenden Diretissimas durch den Wald.
Die Gehzeit des gesamten Caches beträgt etwa 2h.
Start in Mödling (dann 1h mehr Zeitaufwand) oder am Parkplatz am Ende der Mödlinger Klause. Der erste Cache - ein blauer Plastikbehälter - ist im Mauerwerk der Burgruine Mödling versteckt. Drin sind die Koordinaten von Stage 2.
1.44 km mit freier Wegwahl sind nun zu überwinden :)
Bei Stage 2 angekommen findet man ein interessantes Objekt das man besteigen und durchqueren kann. Beim durchqueren findet man eine vierstellige und eine zweistellige Zahl im Format: XXXX/YY

Stage 3 befindet sich bei:

E 16° 15.(B*5)+8
Hier befindet sich ein von weithin sichtbares Bauwerk das der Landschaft einen merkwürdigen Touch gibt. Gesucht ist eine helle Metalltafel innerhalb des Bauwerks mit drei Jahreszahlen. Zähle die Quersummen der drei Zahlen zusammen (also Quersumme von Zahl 1 + Quersumme von Zahl 2 + Quersumme von Zahl 3) und merk dir das Ergebnis als C.
Der Cache ist bei

E 16° 15.0(C-3)
versteckt.
Als besonders schöner Rückweg bietet sich der "Dreistundenweg" an. Will man nach Mödling zurück kann man mit 1.5h zusätzlichen Zeitaufwand noch den Anninger mit Wilhelmswarte mitnehmen. Der Cache läßt sich gut mit MDKs verbinden.
This multicache is hidden in the "Föhrenberge" park - a nice hiking/mountainbiking area west of Mödling. There are numerous paths to the cache stages. Something for every taste - from paths suitable for baby carriage, to nice mountainbike trails to steep diretissimas through the wood.
The total time needed for this cache is about 2h.
If you start in Mödling add 1h to the total time needed. Other good starting places can be found at the end of the "Mödlinger Klause". The first stage - a small blue plastic container - is hidden in the stonework of the ruin of Castle Mödling. Inside you´ll find the coordinates to Stage 2.

Arriving at stage 2 you´ll find an interesting object that can be climbed and traversed. While traversing the object you´ll find a four- and two digit number in the following format: XXXX/YY

Here you´ll find a building that can be seen from afar and gives the landscape a strange, out of the ordinary touch. Search for a metal-plate inside the building with three year dates. Add the digit sum of all three dates and remember the result as C

An especially nice trail back is the "Dreistundenweg". If you have to return to Mödling, you can hike to the Anninger and the Willhelmswarte for additional 1.5h. The cache can be combined with MDKs.
