This is the first cache we have placed and we hope it is enjoyed by many. This is a pretty spot and can be very educational. There is a fish ladder here that is maintained by the Department of Fisheries and the workers we encountered were very pleasant and knowledgable, and took the time to explain to the youngest wanderer about what they were doing .
Original contents are log book and pen, 2 TY Jingle Beanies, a night light, 2 mini screw driver sets, a mini compass, assorted key chains and a pack of AA batteries, because you never know when you will need new ones right?
The land is owned by the people who run a nearby Bed and Breakfast, very nice people had never heard of geocaching but allowed us to place the cache and promised to keep an eye on it for us.
