Geocache Description:

Bring your own pen and log your visit. It is the journey not the destination, so follow the clues, it is more fun that way.

The coordinates above will give you an idea as to the area they are not the location of the cache. You must gather enough clues to be able to solve this mystery. “Not always wise to accept the simplest solution.” And “ Facts like photographic film, must be exposed before developing.”

To start you will need to check with TU0469 to get a referral to a good, no make that a great detective. A link to TU0469 can be found on this page, you may need to check them all. You will need to do a “background “ check before you even fire up the GPS. Ask my alias for help when you get to TU0469. Once you are given an address for a detective that is willing to help, you will need to visit him to pick up additional clues. Remember, “Must turn up many stones to find the hiding place of snake” make a note of this man’s “real” name, you will need it later. “Obvious clues, like tricks of magic, usually prove deceptive.” Believe only what is cast in stone.

My research tells me that this great detective would enjoy helping you solve this mystery. He once said “Biggest mysteries are not always crimes.” He also said “Mind, like a parachute, only function when open.”

This man will provide you with clues to find the next location. Once there you will need to fashion a small but inexpensive tool to help find the next destination. Bring a flat sheet of 8.5 x 11 piece of paper, roll it into a cylinder 11 inches long with the diameter of about the size of a quarter. Place this “spyglass” on top of the wall at the location provided by the detective, and look through it in the direction _ _ _ degrees. If you asked Darwin he would tell you that you would be looking over the shoulder of your ancestor. Interesting to note that your ancestor is scratching his head trying to locate this cache as well. If you have gathered all the clues you should see a power pole through the paper tube. Walking to the pole will take you out of this place. With your back to the pole look back to where you were when you saw the pole. Look for a sign to help you out of this mystery.

Tools of the trade: sheet of paper, compass and GPS. Oh! What direction should you look? If A=1, the total of the detective’s “real” name, either first or last, times 5, plus 5 will give you the direction. Directions as well as the cache are magnetic.

Note: You will be working with greatness be sure to show respect in this place. He once said and I quote, “Most fortunate gift to be able to cross bridge to dwelling place of honorable ancestors before arriving.” He also said, “ When searching for needle in haystack, haystack only sensible location.”
