Geocache Description:

Burfoot County Park covers 50 acres of property with 1,100 feet of saltwater frontage on Budd Inlet. It has a large open grass area with a kid's play area, shelters, picnic tables, BBQ's and restrooms.

From the west end, take the nature trails to the beach access which features beautiful views of the State Capitol and the Olympic mountains.

Trails are sometimes muddy, and steps are provided in steep areas. Stay on the trail in the forest due to the prevalent Poison Oak.

Cache is on the beach, so no need to stray up any slope where the poison oak grows. Please rehide the cache as well or better than you found it. Tides higher than 10' may make it necessary to either scramble over rocks or wade to get this cache depending where you park.
