Lake Evergreen and Comlara Park cover over 1400 acres. Comlara
Park is open until 10pm. Boat concession is open April-September
with pretty good rates for canoes and other craft. Site permit
needed for your own watercraft. Park Website
Swimming is not allowed in the lake. Unique beach/swimming hole
open from Memorial through Labor Day. Also hiking, camping,
hunting, fishing, picnicking, mountain biking, horseback riding,
…. Ice fishing could be an option in a cold winter.
Difficulty rating could drop in the winter time. This cache will be
promptly removed at any time its impact becomes a problem.
Cache In, Trash Out.
Avoid attempting an approach from the north. Many wildlife prefer
that area for nesting.
Other than what you exchange with the cache, take nothing, so that
others may also enjoy what you saw.
Keep the cache hounds on a leash and please plan for their
cleanup.
