Geocache Description:

Memento of the 3rd Hungarian Geocaching Festival and Contest, Kács, 17 May 2003.

According to recent practice, one of the control points of the traditional biennial Hungarian Geocaching Festival and Contest continues to function as a real cache. This time the cache has been in place already during the competition and served as one of the control points, not only providing a read-out of the MultiMatriX but also allowing an entry in the log. By leaving the cache on its place we hope that many cacher will get a taste of the event.

The location was chosen during the preparations for the Contest. When Flektogon, our host, described his proposals for the locations of the control points, the organizing team decided by consensus to select the Stonepen. This place was once a pen, nowadays however it hosts only this geocache.

We recommend approaching the cache from the village Kács, just as an expression of appreciation of the event. The walk goes on an easy, not too long, not too steep path from the south-end of Kács. You will have returned to your starting point in 90 minutes. The cache is a normal tupperware of 260 mm diameter and 140 mm height.

The hiders wish a pleasant search (in alphabetical order): flektogon, kolesar, kumin, magpet, MikiCache
