Cache is located in Jackson County on public land. Four wheel drive may be required during wet periods to get to the parking location. Otherwise you can park on the main road and walk in. Park your vehicle at N44° 16.892', W90° 39.573' It's a pretty easy hike to the cache except for the last 0.10 mile. That's why the terrain difficulty is up to a 4.
Cache is a small tupperware type container, covered in camo tape. There is a log book and pencils in the cache. You may want to bring a pencil if hunting in cold weather.
Please do not leave items in the cache. This is a logbook only cache.
If driving to the parking coordinates, you will need to drive your vehicle across a shallow stream. The stream bed is all gravel, and is very firm. This creek is meant to be driven through.
Once on your way to the cache, it is helpful to take left turns at all the trail intersections, until you get near the cache.
Please bring bug spray as the ticks can be thick. The view is awesome so bring your camera!
** The old cache was eaten by the porcupines. Please be sure to complete cover the cache with stones to keep it from being eaten again ***
