AHHH-HA-HA-HA Traditional Cache
Nomex: Archiving per Groundspeak. Looks as if some people did their homework and still had some difficulty reaching the cache location in a lawful manner. If the cache owner would like me to Unarchive this Listing, I will need more concrete information about the access.
Sorry,

The opportunity to place a difficulty 5 cache less than 20 miles from the parkway drove the cache location.
The cache is located on BLM land (per BLM maps available at the Folsom BLM office) about 4 miles southeast of Latrobe. Access to the cache was originally via right-of-passage roads over private lands. It appears that as of 6/04, the right of vehicular passage has been restricted by a gate. As a result, it appears the only access is via the Cosumnes.
On a clear day, the cache location provides a panoramic view of Downtown Sacramento, the Central Valley, Coastal Range, and Sierra. Because access is restricted by a river, the terrain difficulty is a 5.
Access from the South may be possible by boating or swimming the Cosumnes.
The cache itself is an olive ammo box. It is hidden near the summit of a 950ft. elevation hill. One rock is placed atop the cache to protect and hide it.
Beware of spiders and snakes in the cache area. I did not see rattlesnakes in the cache vicinity, however, they may live in the area.
A successful cache find will require a pleasant climb to the cache site.
CAUTION: Stream levels may fluctuate. DO NOT attempt a stream crossing if it appears unsafe in any way.
