Cache is located in a beautiful rock formation and is named for the color and patterns that several rocks in the area have.
This cache is in a very large rock formation and will provide a pleasant exploring experience for all ages. Please watch for loose edges on the sandstone rocks while exploring. Look before you or your young'uns leap! You will want to take your camera to take home hard copy memories of the rocks, lizards, cacti and other mother nature items around the area. The color patterns in the rocks are varied and different than any that I have ever seen. We spent a lot of time exploring the area and it was worth every minute. Cache area is public hunting area pasture land and has cattle in it behind the single wire electric(low voltage) fence. There is plenty of room for crawling under the fence in a safe manor. This is just an awesome area in my book and I hope you enjoy it too.
Road to this cache will not be friendly after a big rain.
