This cache can be reached using a two wheel drive vehicle. However, if you plan on exploring the area, a 4-wheel drive is recommended.
This our second Frog Pond theme cache. When you visit, you will see why. This little oasis was a major stage and freight stop between the railroad and the mining towns of Aurora and Bodie. Please be aware that this is a theme cache and should you decide to trade, please trade frog for frog. The cache is in a large green ammo box and contains all the usual geocaching items. In addition, at the time of placement, the cache contained: Frog Pin Frog Keychain Frog Wash Mitt Stuffed Frog Bean Bag Frog Wind-up Hoppy Frog Froggy Figurine Foam Kit Frog Garden Stake Frog Frog Box Swinging Frog We also placed the Travel Bug "On the Record" in this cache.
