Singing Bridge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Jug & Roon: This is a beautiful spot and easy access. We've decided to archive Singing Bridge, we just don't want to be responsible for someone getting bit by a snake.
Thanks for everyones nice logs.

Happy Caching,
Jug & Roon

Geocache Description:

Placing the cache was easy except for the burs and foxtails that wanted to join us on our hide. Please pull off Highway 20 at the sign Cache Creek Bureau of Land Management area. Some bushwacking is required.

To Roon's Dad. He refers to the North Fork Cache Creek bridge as the "Singing Bridge." When you travel across it you'll know why.

The cache container is a small Smiley Face with a Happy Face log and small pencil.
Contents: Happy Face foamies and kidney beans.

After kidney failure and 3 1/2 years on dialysis, Roon's dad received a donor's kidney on May 6. Dad retired many years ago but he was "back to work" on dialysis 3 to 4 hours a day three days a week. If all works out well, he'll be able to enjoy his second "retirement."

We're still waiting for it to totally function so take a kidney bean to send a message to dad's healthy newly-acquired kidney---
"Pee! Darn you, Pee!"

This is a time to thank all organ donors and just let families know what it means to give someone another chance to have a normal life.

Dad update 12/08
The kidney wouldn't jump start, so the kidney was removed and Dad is put back on dialysis.
We're so lucky to have him still in our lives, the miracles of medicine and treatments.
Roon's Dad turned 80 years old in November.
