This cache is located near the senic viewpoint at the top of Thompson Pass on the Idaho/Montana border.
Drive up the Coeur d' Alene river to Prichard and on past Murray. Park in the parking area on the top of Thompson Pass and take a short hike to this cache location. The walk is easy, even grandma and grandpa made it.
If you pick up the travel bug, keep it headed east to North Dakota.
Don't forget to bring your camera as the view from the pass is one of the nicest on Idaho Highways.
Your GPS should point you to a natural opening at the edge of the road.
