How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Bring the kids, the playground is great! Unfortunately, tree cover can add a bit of difficulty to the find. Note that the coordinates are not the location of the cache.

This cache was originally hidden in the Twin Bridge Park in Merrimack, NH to celebrate the buying of the original CO's first home nearby! Cache container is on the smaller side so please trade small items.

You can make this hike as long or as short as you wish. The cache is only a short distance from parking, but you may want to wander around the trails if you have the time. There is a trail-map behind the playground, most of the trails are dead ends but they bring you by some interesting spots.

Once at the coordinates (which should be at the slightly burned tree with the large growth head that has now fallen over), go 20 paces at a bearing of 324 degrees. The coordinates are not the location of the cache, but if you follow the directions you should be able to find the cache.

The GZ is very visible from some heavily traveled trails so please use some stealth to keep this old cache in place and still available for folks to find.

Once found, please re-hide the cache container carefully in its hiding place.
