Located at Cape Shirya at one of the north eastern most part of the main island of Honshu Japan.
This is my first of many caches to be strategically placed in Northern Japan. The cache is a rubbermaid container painted in grey, black and tan colors with an official Geocaching lable on the lid. It contains some cool things I put together for my first cache:
-- A few first aid supplies
-- Sunscreen
-- Bug Repellent
-- A Romeo and Juliet Cuban Cigar
-- Cigarette Lighter
-- Small Glass Japanese Fishing Float
-- 550 Parachute Cord
-- American Flag Sticker
-- Emergency Fire Starter
-- Chemical Hand warmers
-- And a few other little nicknacks
When you get to the gate leading to the lighthouse, simply pull up to the gate and it will automatically open. Lock in on your waypoint and begin your quest.
I checked the waypoint twice, but with heavy tree cover, I lost my signal a few times, don't give up too soon.
It was a blast hiding my first cache. I couldn't print the instructions in Japanese so, feel free to print them and leave them for the next person. Happy hunting.
