Carter of the Moon Hot Springs , the real name is Wild Rose Hot Springs
Try going to this hot springs at sunset and when there,s a full moon. Beautiful, remote , 100 de water ,the area is surrounded by lava. A natural mineral water spring flows over marshy ground. the pool is 15 feet and three-deep and made of lava rock. The springs are located on BLM land, but the pool is on private land. Please use, but don,t abuse. Bathing suits are up to you. The pool is close to road.Pool is not in sight-just don,t stand up on the deck. Directions: From Carey drive 10 miles east on high-20-26-93. one-half mile east of mile marker 214,look for small turnout on north side of road. Park and follow the trail. It,s about 100 yards to the pool. It is 15 1/2 miles to Craters of the Moon Nat. Monument,check it out, it,s Beautiful. Contents of cache, RR crossing key ring,Gold Dollar,Sun Valley Ski Pen, football key ring, rubber lizard, and a ring. Good Hunting, Al, Charlie and Maggie
