Geocache Description:

For best results, start at Tuscarora Creek Park at N 39º 05.672', W 077º 32.558'. You can follow the paved path down the hill to the cache. Watch for deer!

I placed this cache with help of my lovely assistant Rigelkitty. We decided to call it the Tuscarora Creek Cache, named for the small creek that runs nearby.

While hunting for the cache you will be walking along the former path of the Washington & Old Dominion railroad, which was abandoned in August 1968. Today the old railroad grade has been paved over and is Washington & Old Dominion Regional Park---a popular recreation spot for cyclists, joggers, and horseback riders.

The cache is a .30 cal metal ammo box. There is a small disposable camera inside, feel free to take a picture when you visit!
