Geocache Description:

A fairly lengthy walk along bridle paths and moor, ending with a climb to a summit

The Cache is situated on the top of a peak, Leskernick Hill, amongst stones that used to be a settlement. Similar and more obvious settlement sites dot this area of the moor.

You are seeking an Ammo Box full of goodies, which, due to its size, should be fairly easy to locate due, once in the vicinity, to the few natural hiding places.

There are a number of ways to access the location, most being via Bridlepaths or Footpaths. Obviously, please keep to these paths until they join up with the open land.

Having spoken to the man who grazes his sheep here, they have many walkers that go up to the hill - and provided they respect the paths, there is no problem. There is a potential problem with the householder at the end of the lane at Westmoorgate, please be discreet and polite, he evidently does not like cachers roaming the moors.

Another point to note is that the Paths can get extremely muddy at times - so go prepared.
