Park & Hoot Traditional Cache
UWdawg: I took a long and good look around the area (as have others) and it is clear the owl has left the area. We will have to see if a sibling lands somewhere nearby :)

This is a simple and interesting geocache right off of I405.
Watch out for nettles and other plants that are not good to come in contact with. There is a clear path to the cache that allows you to avoid them.
Satellite reception was not real good for me at the cache location, but is quite good a very short distance away. If you are having difficulty with your GPSr pointing you all over the place, you may want to return to the open area and rely on the bearing and distance reading as you begin to walk towards the cache.
I have trashed out a large garbage bag of litter and suspect this location will continue to offer trash out opportunities. However, I don't view it as being an unpleasant or unsafe area - just an unfortunately convenient place for people to litter.
The initial contents of this cache are mostly items the kids have picked up at other geocaches (which means they are not spectacular in the least).
Please be careful to replace the lid in such a way that it seals the container. It is a little tricky but not very difficult.
I hope you enjoy the find. Based on previous experience, both kids and adults should find this cache interesting.
