Telscombe Trackers: We have decided not to place a new cache in the place of this one. The last couple of winters has seen the gorse in this area die back quite a lot, which inevitably leads to the cache being exposed.

I would highly recommend the nearby Super Seven Sisters Spectacular Seaside Stroll, which involves passing the former location of this cache en route.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

The cache is located about halfway between Cuckmere Haven and Birling Gap.

The cache is a small (0.7 litre) white tupperware box with a blue lid.

Approaching from Birling Gap (map), the walk to the cache is quite steep, but there are some lovely sea views, and the Gap has a pub and coffee room to revive yourself after finding the cache. The Gap is a place of interest in it's own right, as the houses there are gradually falling into the Sea. Also, from the Gap you can also visit the Belle Tout lighthouse.

This cache is also on the path you need to take to complete Go Pack Go's excellent Super Seven Sisters Spectacular Seaside Stroll.

Alternatively, for a slightly easier walk, you can park at Crowlink (map).

The cache is hidden in some bushes. There are a lot of bushes. To find the cache, I think you'll need to use the hint.

The picture called "Spoiler", is, errm, a spoiler, with Janet pointing to the location of the cache, so don't look at it if you like a good hunt.
