A good place to park is behind the police office. Turn in where a sign says "Mill Pond" in downtown Middleville, just east of the bridge over the river.
It is wheelchair accessible (except for the last 10 feet).
This is a paved path, suitable for walking, biking or skating/rollerblading.
The trail is closed during the month of November due to hunting on adjacent land.
Good opportunities for birding. Bring mosquito repellent.
The cache is a small ammo box and hidden where kids can find it.
