Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the Lehigh Valley Trail in the town of Rush.

The Lehigh Valley Trail is an abandoned railroad corridor. You can park at the Rush Creekside Inn and enter the trail from the back of their parking lot. The trail is suitable for hiking or biking in the summer. It is a beautiful area, so take your time and enjoy the scenery. I saw 3 rabbits, 3 deer and 1 snake while I was placing this cache. The cache is a 50 cal ammo box containing a log book and assorted trade items. Bug spray is recommended during summer months. Watch out for poison ivy as well. Please do not wander too far off the trails as the surrounding area is private property. Before heading home, be sure to stop by the Rush Veterans Memorial Park at N42º 59.554 W077º 38.689. This is a lovely park with a nice view of a small waterfall.
