Just off the trail to the east behind a meduim fallen tree.
The cache is a green ammo can. You cannot see it from the trail. There are a couple a large trees within 10 feet of it and water just beyond.
This is the first recorded cache in Pratt County.
I stocked it with several items and pins.
It is a nice area in the Pratt Backwater Channels Wildlife Area of the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.
I got lucky and found a quarter lying on the ground on the way back on July 22, 2003.
