Trail Head is at N38 49.448 W77 10.719. Suggested parking is N38 49.580 W77 10.614. Please note warnings regarding towing of cars in the development where the trail head is located. I live in this development and believe they only tow cars at night when parking space is at a premium. Using the suggested parking coordinates adds a quarter of a mile to your hike, but eliminates concerns about whether your car will be there when you return.
Wear long pants (ivy) and shoes with good traction (water hazard and mud). Hiking boots would be even better. You'll be going into the woods, and users may experience "Loss of Signal." There are holes in the canopy to re-acquire the signal, and the cache site has a signal. The cache is a 1-gallon, rectangular, Rubbermaid container with camouflage paint. Oh yeah - with all of the rain lately, there's lots of mosquitoes too! You might wanna get a can of OFF!! Lotsa Luck!

When you come to a fork in the road, left is right and the bridge is wrong! If it looks like you're gonna need a machete to get to this cache, then keep hiking down the path. You CANNOT see the crossing from the fork!!! The crossing is fairly easy. The cache is NOT that far off the beaten path.

There were two trees that aided crossing the water hazard. They have since fallen into the creek! This makes the "IRC" a bit more of a challenge! It is still crossable though. Suggest waiting a couple days after rainy weather though. Cache at your own risk!
