Park at N44 06.141 W073 32.776 and cross the road to the yellow steel gate. The trail is actually a gravel road that is now closed to vehicles and goes all the way to a communications tower and on up to the fire tower. A total distance of about 0.4 miles. All good road hiking and only about 200 feet of bushwhacking. The tower was rebuilt in 1999 with wire mesh added to the sides for safety and guy wires were also added. The cab is open so you can go inside but I have no idea what is inside the cab because I only got to the third landing before I chickened out. I love these old fire towers just to scared of heights to climb them.

This cache is winter accessible and a good place for either skis or snowshoes.
This is also a chance for you to log two benchmarks while on Belfry Mt.
