Geocache Description:

Located on a ridgeline at the crash site of a USAF F-4 Phantom.

This cache can be located by taking Hwy 375 to a very worn road moving to the north. Approximately 5.2 miles later you will find a path cut into the mountain by a bulldozer for the crash recovery operation. Follow this path for .8 miles until you reach a fork in the path, bear to the right and proceed another .4 miles to a road coming in sharply from the left, turn left. Follow this path to the next fork and bear right. Go up a steep incline, this will get you very close. This cache is stored in a Tupperware container. Inside I placed several patriotic pins, an odd picture frame, a AC-130 Sticker, and a small American Flag that I flew on a combat mission over Afghanistan on the 4th of July 2002. This is a fairly steep hike going up to nearly 7000', take plenty of water, be on the lookout for desert creatures, and take a minute to enjoy a spectacular view of the valley on your way back down.
