This is a good place to watch sunsets or rainstorms in the valley. Many of the area's pioneers are still at rest in this area.
The main attraction of this cache is the view. Most cars just drive by without stopping to smell the flowers, but we have found this a great place to look out over the fields and valley. There is a bench next to the parking area that is ready for you to enjoy. The cache is a small container about twice as long as a 35mm film cannister, so think really small and thin if trading anything. Original contents are a logbook and pen, a necklace and a few old coins. The cache location is near an old fir tree which obscures the sky and sometimes messes up the gps signal, so trust your instincts when you get close. It takes me about 168 steps to get there.
