Start of Trail is on the Plains Road, exit 13 off the TCH 104. There are some hills, some with wooden steps.
This is a new trail. Most of it is covered with fresh wood chips. It is not a stroller trail. There are hills some with wooden steps and hand rail. All brooks and wet areas have boardwalks. We watched fish swimming under the bridges over the brooks. There are numerous areas to sit on a bench and smell the roses. It is well marked with direction signs. There are many slit trenches and fox holes off the trail side, signs of a former military training area. It took us 1 hour and 35 minutes to leisurly stroll around the complete loop. I can highly recommend this hiking trail.INITAL CACHE CONTENTS:Log book pens and pencilA can of Muscol bug spray,Use if needed and leave in cachePkg of balloonsSmall dollNova Scotia key chainNova Scotia pinBrain twisterAir tight snap container2 Envelopes "For children of all ages."2 Tim Horton gift certificatesDuramax power bit setCD Blue Da Ba Dee Dance PartyCD Red SovineCD Don Messer and the IslandersCD Magellan GPS Map SendCD GPS Mapping/Utilitiesvisit link) width="114" height="44" border
