Geocache Description:

I think they must have forgotten about me...

Oddly enough, this section of the Johnson County trail system starts nowhere and goes nowhere. As far as I can tell there isn't even really room to extend it anywhere.

Parking is on the street at N38 55.912 W94 42.865.

I think I've managed to camoflage this cache pretty well, but please make sure you hide it carefully because it's within easy sight of the trail.

Even this close to the interstate, be sure to keep your eyes open for rabbits, jaguars, mustangs, rams, cougars and other high-speed wildlife. ;)

November 19, 2003: revisited the cache today to place a new log book. With the loss of the foliage this location was just too visible. So, the cache has moved about 30 feet to a (hopefully) less visible location.

December 12, 2006: Assistance will be needed the last 100 feet for those without full mobility. There are uneven surfaces, underbrush, and downed limbs making access difficult.

***IMPORTANT*** Do not attempt cache from I-435. This is an EXTREMELY dangerous stretch of highway - please use the parking coordinates provided.
