Geocache Description:

Another Classic nonnipoppy Hide!

This cache was originally placed by one of the early pioneers of Arkansas geocaching, nonnipoppy.
It is the first cache placed in Johnson County.
The cache was transferred by nonnipoppy to Old River Runner on 3/24/12.

UPDATE 12/25/2022: The following description is the original text. Things have changed a lot in the area where the geocache is located, including the improvement of an old forest road so that the cache is now a drive-up grab. You are looking for a camo'd peanut butter jar.

A short walk followed by a brief hike. The view is best if water is coming over the spillway.

Go northwest from Clarksville to Highway 164 and turn left, 4 miles west is the entrance to Horsehead Lake. Go past the entrance .15 mile across the bridge and look on the right for a pipe gate with purple paint. You may choose to park here or go through the gate and park along the trail a short distance at N35 33.431 W93 38.053. Look for an unmarked trail (heading 330) on the north side of spillway. Cache is a regular size box.

If you have suggestions about improving this cache please email me.
