This ammo can cache is one of a string of Lewis and Clark caches from the southern to northern borders of Nebraska and Iowa. This cache was placed with permission of the land owner and local help on the cache placement and lid contents. The town of Winnetoon has a really fun little replica old time town that has fun hidden things to find in each building. Head for the post office, and you will be given the paper giving you directions to find everything. You can see the man who made all of the Shannon statues for each town on the Shannon Trail. The people are eager to share their special village with you. This cache is part of the Shannon Trail. Be sure to ask for a sticker.
Update 8-21-2020: Original cache owner, The Three Amigos, can no longer care for the cache. Ownership was transferred from current caretaker, sdgal, to GeoJudt to keep it going for years to come.
