This cache is located next to a small urban open space. You must be very discreet as a large office building overlooks this site and you may be watched and not know it. The pathway is also popular. The cache location is one block from the Alaska State Capitol Building and next to the City Museum. It is an easy walk from the cruise ship docks, albeit up hill. Come on, burn off some of those calories from the buffet!!

The location of the cache and the container has changed several times over the past few years. It is now a round pill container. It can contain small TBs and geocoins. BE SURE TO LOG THEM IF YOU TAKE THEM.
This cache was originally placed by akvoyager in 2003. He passed away in 2014. The cache has been adopted and will carry on.
Also -- A new attraction in Juneau for 2016 will be the re-opening of the Alaska State Museum. The old building was raised in 2014 and the SLAM (State Library, Archives, Museum) project was launched. From the pedestrian bridge, look down toward the water and it can't be missed. Enjoy the cache, the museums, and strolling around downtown Juneau....
