This seventh Queensland cache contains a plantman pet rock, a traveling pet rock, fishing gear, a Vancouver Island Geocaching Event Notebook, a Captain No Beard Doubloon, a golf ball, a pen and a logbook.
The satellite coverage in the rainforest is less than ideal and a little unstable. However, with patience you can get reproducible readings. I took another reading at the riverbank of 26 13.632 x 152 59.532. The tree is found 15 paces at 320 degrees magnetic from the riverbank reading. The tree is between the trail and the river and is very obviously the right hollow tree if you are anywhere within sight of the cache. This is a beautiful river bottom rain forest site with Eucalyptus grandis, the rose gum, and Licuala ramsayi, the fan palm, in abundance.

- Left with Dragonslair, on August 24, 2003, and delivered by hand to plantman in Castaways Beach. Since plantman is going home in a few days this pet rock is coming back and will be put into a North American cache. Thank you Helen and John for a nice visit and delivering the pet rock.
