Geocache Description:

This is a 3 step cache that ends with a micro. You will need a calculator and pen/pencil to log your find. The cache is in a 35mm film canister.

The above coordinates will get you to the parking area where your trek will begin. The following is a parital excerpt from the "FROM BRIDGE TO BRIDGE" pamphlet that is available at this location.

"The Bethesda (Presbyterian) Church building was constructed in 1835. During the war, the Church served as a hospital for wounded soldiers from both sides as well as for those suffering from smallpox. Numerous vetrans from the War are buried in the adjoining cemetery".
This old structure now stands empty and has done so for more than a century. It's a true casualty of the war between the states.

1st Stage:
Now that you are at the first set of coordinates, it's time to start the leg work. You will need to know the year that the arch leading to the parking coordinates was built. This will be answer "A".
Now that you got the first answer, use the following formula to get you to the next set of coordinates:
1. "A" * 3 = "B"
2. "B" / 2 = "C"
3. "C" - 2200 = "D"
4. "D" + 156 = "E"
Now plug "E" into the following coordinates:
N36.14."E" W083.13.663

Now that wasn't so bad was it?
2nd Stage:
Now that you've made it here, take a moment to look around what is in front of you. There is a lot of history here. You will need to know how many acres of land was donated by Elder Joseph Shannon for the Church and cemetery. You will need to round this number down to the nearest acre. This answer will be known as "F".
Use the formula below to get you to the last step of the micro:
1. SQUARE "F" = "G"
2. SQUARE "G" = "H"
3. "H" * 6 = "I"
4. "I" + 384 = "J"
Now plug "J" into the following set of coordinates:
N36.14."J" W083.13.632

Great job but you are not finished yet even though you found the cache container. You will need to look around the last set of coordinates and email me the final answer to the question below to get credit for this cache.
There is a monument in honor of the 17 soldiers who died in 1863 in defense of the south land. The names of only 2 are known. I need for you to email me the names of those 2 known soldiers. Any logs without sending the names of the 2 men (via email) will be deleted. Please do not post the answers to the question on your log.

Good luck and we hope you enjoy our cache and the history of this area.
