This is a large plastic container hidden probably 30' from one of the 2 walking paths at The Rowlett Community Centre. The paths are 4' wide concrete paths that meander in 2, 1/2 mile loops. There is plenty of parking at the center which is also the location of The Wet Zone and a kids' wooden playground.
This is stroller friendly and a good one for the first timers.
After finding the cache, you may be able to see why this one is named "Dead Man's Curve".
Also check out "Hang On Sloopy" which is within walking distance of this one.
Since all of our caches thus far have named after song titles, we leave you with the lyrics to "Dead Man's Curve" by Jan and Dean.
"I was cruisin' in my Stingray late one night
When an XKE pulled up on the right
And rolled down the window of his shiny new Jag
And challenged me then and there to a drag
I said, "You're on buddy, my Mill's running fine
Let's come off the line now at Sunset and Vine
But I'll go you one better if you got the nerve
Let's race all the way...
To Dead Man's Curve."
