From Berlin, NH, drive west on route 110 for about 5 miles. Take a left on York Pond Road heading toward the fish hatchery. You will enter the White Mountain National Forest. When you get to the Kilkenney Guard Station, bear left. Almost 4 miles from the gate at the beginning of the dirt road (which is Bog Dam Road, or 19 Mile Loop Road, depending on who you talk to) is an unmarked trailhead. Coordinates for the trailhead are 44° 28.567 N 71° 18.950 W. During winter months the gate is closed, so be prepared to do some hiking.
The roads are easy to navigate; I do it in the family station wagon. The trail is quite easy to follow. The cache is a little off the trail, but no real bushwhacking should be necessary.
The cache is a clear plastic container with a white lid. In it is a Jungle Book pin, white car, stuffed bear, and hair tie, hand stamped card, logbook, disposable camera, pencil, and sharpener.
