A primitive camping location with a view of the Deschutes arm of Lake Billy Chinook.
Observe the majestic rimrock, smell the juniper and sage, and hear the red tailed hawks while searching for the semi-concealed ammo can. Eagles can also be observed, as can deer and the other typical central Oregon wildlife. Possible hazards include snakes and ticks, just be aware of your surroundings and don't keep your eye glued to your GPS unit [been there, done that...don't need to repeat my mistakes]. Stop and smell the roses - or - "take in the view". If you see a little trash left by the careless, insensitive aliens, then practice a little CITO. Have fun geocaching in the central Oregon sun.
