The Rock Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Cache is located approx 10-15 mins walk from road. The terrain is uphill and a little rocky at times. It is best to park on the main B5429 road close to the chapel and then
walk up lane opposite to the park entrance.
This cache shouldn't take too long to find, but it leaves you plenty of time to explore and take in the glorious views. The cache is contained in a thin tupperware box (so no bulky items). It is camoflaged by a few smalls rock and pebbles.
The area has some excellent views of the Clwyd valley and for those who have lots of energy there are plenty of public footpaths and BOATS in the immediate area including Offa's Dyke. There are also some picnic tables if you fancy a spot of lunch. Also look out for the quarry and the limestone furnace.
Please note: there are some sheep in the park, so please keep all dogs a lead.
