Geocache Description:

Papa Jay's Country Store

A piece of Americanna is nearly gone. It is the old Country store. My Father stopped at every one of them when I was a kid. I came to love the old homeiness, the quaintness and the people who run them. I have a difficult time passing them even today and I try to make sure my children have been introduced to them. They are getting fewer and fewer. I would like to see Cachers identity every one of them that are left so we can make them one of our stops as we Cache the USA.

The Tin that contains the Cache is on top of a pop cooler with "Geocache" written on it. It starts with a couple of trinkets and some Jerky. Since it is inside the store you can take it to one of his tables and write your own tale in the Log and enjoy some country association as you write. His store hours are: Monday thru Saturday 8:00AM to 7:00PM
