PINNACLE VIEW (Hidden Valley, South of Riyadh) Traditional Cache
M&Ms: The closing of hidden valley is a great loss and it used to be the one the favourite trips from Riyadh into spectacular scenery after a relatively short and easy drive. This cache may be bagged from the North but that involves activity for which this cache was never intended and so we will archive it in the face of the bulldozers.

A cache for the non-geomaniacs. A straightforward 4WD drive, followed by a short, easy climb brings you to a feature with several potential cache sites but not enough to drive the bagger to despair. One for all the family. Note the co-ordinate accuracy is 6.1m.
The following is an extract from the log Scarinian: Before me I could see the destination of my task, The Pinnacle standing tall and bold however a cohort of Gatepole warriors blocked my way. I drew the Enchanted Sword of Scalim but rather than take on this mighty foe I worked my way back and around the rock feature but only to find that the Gatepole had anticipated this move and this route was also blocked but this time by the Warriors of Barb. I had no alternative but to attack though first I must not chance losing the Sacred Food Container of Riyadh and so I looked around for a suitable place in which to hide it. On both sides of me towered mighty rocks and along their top were many deep holes. I tasted revenge but then recalled the telling of the Old Widow Hag from Kingdom, “Not all baggers are athletes and some desire a genteel day out. Put aside revenge and instead tempt these others to play.” What wise words these were and so I chose a good site, a flat top feature, one to which all those that follow me could get to and I placed the Sacred Container under a ledge of rock and hid it from sight by a single stone for many shepherds wander in these parts. I then climbed to the wadi top for here I could gain advantage over the Barb and slowly I worked my way along…
