This cache was created for our four-legged friends who love to cache but can't hike as far as they used to. Parking near Ledge St School will make this only a 1/2 mile round trip if the right trails are followed.
This is the original Casper and Snickers cache that we had to relocate. Casper and Snickers were golden retriever sisters who loved to cache. We lost Snickers on 8/3/04 at the age of 13 years, 11 months and we lost Casper on 12/8/04 at the age of 14 years, 3 months. This cache is now a fitting tribute to 2 wonderful companions who are very much missed. As they grew older, they couldn't cache as much as they used to, so we made this an easy one for those four-legged friends who still love to cache but can't hike the longer trails. The cache contains all sorts of animal figures. Please take an animal and leave an animal, log your find and enjoy another less travelled area of Mine Falls.
