Geocache Description:

I parked at Daniels Park in Willoughby. Coords are N 41 37.806, W 081 24.140.

Cache is a clear plastic shoe box. It's decent sized. I set the terrain at 3.5 because the terrain depends on the level of the river. I will monitor the level and if it rises to a point that makes it to difficult to get to the cache, I will disable the cache temporarily, until it recedes. That being said, you will probably want to wear old shoes or waterproof boots, however, when I placed the cache I didn't get wet at all. Some areas are muddy, but not too bad. Lot of trash in the area so be careful of glass and such. I will most likely have to move the location in the winter, but there are plenty of spots in the area. Night caching might also be tricky here. It's much prettier in the day anyway!! You'll want to check out the high flood mark on the brick building in Daniels. You'll walk past it as you head for the cache. Across from the brick building is a small water level gauge station placed by the Geological Survey. The park was mobbed when I went to place the cache, but I don't think anyone should see you when you find the cache unless maybe some fishermen on the river. There is fishing for all you fishermen, and there is a nice playground for you parents with kids, as well as some picnic tables and such for you picnickers, and I think even some rockhounds will enjoy this one. BE SURE TO READ THE FIRST THREE PAGES OF THE LOGBOOK, as I have included a small question that is to be answered in your log. Have fun and let me know what you think of the area!! Good Luck!!
