Clarkston Cliché Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

erik88l-r: Dear Geocacher,
As there has been no response to my previous log, I'm archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Whether you’re a babe in the woods, knee high to a grasshopper or as old as dirt, you’ll enjoy 40 Oaks Nature Preserve, open to people and dogs from 7am to sunset, just a stone’s throw from downtown Clarkston, as the crow flies. You don’t have to be as fit as a fiddle, or as sharp as a tack. But, if you weren’t born yesterday and you know the ropes, you’ll get through the three stages of this little multicache faster than a New York minute. You’ll tell your friends that it was as easy as falling off a log. On the other hand, if you’re more like a bump on a log who couldn’t find his way out of a paper bag, you might get off on the wrong foot and end up feeling like a fish out of water.

If you find the coordinates as clear as mud, taking you all over the map, these hints should help:

1. The coordinates for the first location might not be totally accurate, but that’s water under the bridge. The next location will be only about one-tenth of a mile away, but let’s cross that bridge when we come to it. And don’t burn your bridges- write those coordinates down!

2. Now, make like a tree and leave for the second location. Searching for the next coordinates may feel like looking for a needle in a haystack, and you may find yourself barking up the wrong tree. If you keep your chin up, you may turn over a new leaf.

3. The trail to the final location is a little off the beaten path, and you may have to beat around the bush a little. Try not to get stuck between a rock and a hard place. No man is an island, but when it comes to the cache location, there’s water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink! We didn’t even get our feet wet hiding this cache, but if it’s raining cats and dogs, you might possibly have to go out on a limb to get to it. Lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise, mother nature will fork it over and it’ll be like stealing candy from a baby. In fact, the cache practically sticks out like a sore thumb!
