$20 Cash Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

IronHorseReviewer: Greetings from Geocaching.com

It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While
we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block
other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable
amount of time, we can't do so forever. Therefore we are archiving this
cache so that someone else can place a cache in the area and geocachers
can once again enjoy visiting this location. If you haven't done so
already, please pick up any remaining cache pieces as soon as possible.

If you are in the process of replacing or repairing your cache please
e-mail me in response to this archival, and I will assist you in getting
your cache re-listed if possible.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to
geocaching in the past and look forward to seeing your caches up and
running in the future.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This is a 2-stage cache located along the trails of St. Matthews Community Center Park.

This park is located on land behind the bowling alley across from The Mall in St. Matthews. The trails are behind the softball fields, so you should not have to worry about crowds. You will find the coordinates for the main cache inside a micro. The final cache is a small tupperware container and although you are welcome to leave something pricey, none of the original contents are worth anywhere near $20!

Please be sure to replace both caches carefully. Enjoy the park!

HERE'S A TECHNICAL NOTE:
I always average multiple coordinates before posting to be as accurate as I can, but I have a theory about variables that cachers might have that goes beyond seasonal foliage. I have my GPS set to measure "true north" positions. I have often thought that cachers who always seem to have readings that are 20-25' off mine may have their GPS units set to measure "magnetic north." Some say that it does not make much of a difference in the greater Louisville area. While that may be right, I think those who use measurements based on magnetic north will have a considerably greater challenge at stage one!
