Baia Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

wcgreen: On the first day of 2019, I will remove Baia from its hide.

It's been a great run for Baia: placed 6/28/2003, found 451 times (sought 483 times) and pretty much maintenance-free with no snake bites (I'm thankful for that.) I have both containers used and will place them once I'm settled in my new home on the east side of Florida.

Thank you to all who enjoyed this cache

Geocache Description:

Micro cache along a branch of the Pinellas Trail. Nearest legal free parking is at N28 03.498, W082 48.579 All but the last few yards of the approach is paved. Beware mosquitoes and snakes.

You are searching for a pill vial wrapped in bright yellow duct tape. It contains a roll of paper for a log. Bring your own writing implement.

The Pinellas Trail branches in Dunedin and heads west to Honeymoon Island State Park. The city of Dunedin maintains the causeway as a city park; fishing, boating, wading, swimming, picnicking, and sunset watching are popular activities here. Dogs are allowed on the Trail, but not on the beach or in the water.

Baia is Latin for palm frond.

10/24/17: i spotted a good-size rattlesnake near the cache. Be Careful!
