Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden along the Appalachian Trail near an unusual geographic formation. It's not too long a distance from the road, but the trail is steep and rocky - probably not a good idea for very young children unless you want to carry them. This cache should probably be avoided in the snow because the trail would be very slippery and dangerous in snow and ice. Closest parking is at 41 52.406 N, 73 23472 W, but you can access it from the north as well, via a longer hike.

The cache is an ammo can. The original contents are: rawhide dog chew, water bomb slinger, wrist watch, set of army men, work gloves, and rain poncho. Have fun and be careful.
