Nothing like an easy hike in the woods.
This ammo can is within about 230 feet off the Pacific Crest Trail near the junction with the Bluebox trail. The difficulty is set for summer time caching [in the winter you may need snow shoes so the difficulty level should be about a 2.5 / 2.5 or so]. The cache is not hidden by any rocks, although you have to be at the right angle to see it from about seven feet away. If you listen carefully in the summertime you can hear the frogs in the near-by lake. Unfortunately, you will probably also hear traffic from US Hwy. 26. Hopefully, you will have a little time to hike the trails before or after finding this cache.
