Geocache Description:

Five acres of grounds, nice paved walking area. Is handicapped accessible. Plenty of places to sit. Coordinates may bounce a bit due to tree cover. It will get you close enough.

A very spiritual place. You do not have to be christian, religious, or catholic to enjoy this rare treat. The Grotto was built to be an exact replica of the Lourdes Grotto in Lourdes France. It depicts the story of The Blessed Mother as she appeared to St. Bernadette.
Behind the Grotto, is The Hill of Tepeyac. Also on the grounds is a gift shop, and chapel. Admission is free. The grounds are open until dark. Gift shop, and chapel from 10-6. The area is used as an active catholic church. There are reg. services, and confessions. Because of this, please be courteous & in control of children if caching during services.
This is a Virtual cache. Please email me the answer to the following questions: What roman numeral is on the item? And what 2 familys names are on the small bronze name plate.

This IS a sightseeing tourist destination, and bus trips here are frequent.
Children ARE welcome, but it is NOT a playground.
Several Nuns, Priests, and , Missionaries are aware of the virtual cache. They only ask that you be respectful to others, the grounds, and the animals while here.

If you have ANY questions or concerns I would appreciate a PM or email.

****ATTN: THIS IS A VIRTUAL CACHE****
