Geocache Description:

Coffee Pot Spring above Glennwood Canyon

Don't be tempted to drink from the spring. Although in theory it should be safe, Forrest Service officials told me that Giardia could be present. (The same is true for all the springs on the Flat Tops, including Broken Rib Spring - a couple more miles down the road.)
(visit link)

You must be prepared to travel at least 17 miles of bumpy dirt road to visit this cache. Winter weather prevents access with anything other than snowmobiles much of the year. The Flat Tops area above Glennwood Canyon is visited very infrequently due to it's remoteness but the beauty of this area is unsurpassed in Colorado or the World for that matter.

If you view the area with GoogleEarth you can see a rare view of an airplane near the cache that the satellite captured when taking the picture.

The cache is in a medium sized ammo can.
The original contents are as follows:

MatchBox Blimp
(2) MatchBox Road Rollers
Tom Clancy book
Legends of American Jazz post card pack
Packet of window/bumper stickers
Silly Putty egg
Taz window sticker
toy American Airlines plane
Log book and pencil
