Geocache Description:

Cache is located on Langford Lake just past "Electric City" in New France.

Electric City was founded by the french Stehelin family back in the late 1800s. This was one of the first settlements in the area to have electric lights powered from a hydro-electric generator. Most of the foundations from the community is still visible around the park. For more information regarding New France please visit: (visit link)

Park at N44 18.970, W65 46.092 and walk past the bridge over Silver River. Take the walking path on the right until you reach the lake. Follow the edge of the lake to find the cache. The cache is a small tupperware container. Cache is about a 1km hike from the parking lot.
