Geocache Description:

This is the first of (hopefully) many caches that are intended to showcase central and east-central Orange County, CA. Each location is unique unto itself so a multi cache is out of the question…

This trek will take you through one of the most beautiful areas in Santa Ana (yes there are many – if you know where to look), and we guarantee most of you have driven right past this location – and didn’t even knew it was there!!! There is a lot of history in this area and some interest even in this little niche. Challenge yourself to look around the area. You’ll be glad you did!!!

The coordinates were taken over several readings on an overcast afternoon. The best we could come up with was approx 20 ft accuracy on our Garmin e-trex. Good Luck. You are looking for a small round container.

Thankfully, the terrain and accessibility are ADA friendly (except for the last few feet).

7/17/06: Back in action! thanks for all the care concern and support!!! Smokey Bear pin & pencil added to 'revive' the cache closer to it's original intent. Difficulty increased since the fig vine has grown up considerably.
